Votive Candle
This photo was taken at the small chapel resting behind the wall of the main altar at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Mobile, AL. I was waiting for the wedding rehearsals of my cousins wedding to finish up, when my mom told me about this chapel.
I love that the votive candle is present to remind us of the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, in all of the tabernacles of the world. It's light instills peace in me, as well as anticipation of when I get to receive our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
